Felling trees is not something I take any great joy in doing, but sometimes it is necessary (as is hunting for food, for instance) to sustain us in the out-of-doors. It should be done in as gentle a way as possible, however. Trees often grow in bundles, thus making it hard to fell only one, or creating difficulties when attempting to cut down only one, hurting others in the process. As a general rule and principle, this should be avoided. Here is a method you can use as a means to this end – cutting down select trees while leaving others out of harms’ way.
